Sabeleena (aka: Bean) is another barn favorite, being very strong on her feet and legs as well as having wonderful dairy character. Sabeleena was shown as a younger doe and has 2 milking legs to her credit. Every year when she has freshened we think that this year we might be able to finish her, and then something comes up. She is another of our does that will forever be 1 leg away from being a permanent champion.
Sabeleena kidded January 2007 with a single doeling we named Samantha, Sabeleena is bred back to Maverick for a repeat of Samantha. Bean as my 4-H kids named her when she was a baby, is one of the peacekeepers in the barn. She is like her half sister Jambor-Ree in the longevity department, still doing what a dairy goat is designed to do......lead a long and productive life.
