Salem is the last offspring out of the power packed duo of Macleay and Carissa. This cross produced our highest placing doelings at the National Shows they were taken to including the Second Place Dry Yearling at the 1995 National Show. His dam was AIed to Macleay and produced this buck at the age of 12. Salem is not the biggest buck we have but his daughters as yearlings are some of our biggest in the barn. He is wide and very open in the ribs as well as putting on well shaped mammaries that look just like the ones his sire put on his offspring. Salem's offspring are wide and have extremely strong feet and legs as well as general appearance. His full sister Cimarra classified 90 at the age of 4,and another of his sisters was the 1999 Grand Champion with BUOB at the Nebraska State Fair when she was owned by Brenda Nelson.
